HARNESSING THE POWER OF IOT DATA
The decision making process in a wide range of fields, including agriculture, energy, transportation, safety, and public health, is informed, in key ways, by knowledge from the field of atmospheric science. The instruments currently used for weather monitoring, however, often suffer from limitations, due to technical and practical constraints. Technologies such as remote sensing systems, and instruments deployed at surface level, may grapple with issues such as low spatial representativity, or reduced precision of near ground measurements. These limitations reduce the ability to perform extensive environmental observations, and, as a result, the capacity to provide warning, and to contend with the danger posed by weather conditions.
As multi-system informatics and sensing technology have become increasingly embedded in our environment, they have grown ever more distributed. Unprecedented data streams with astounding levels of coverage and immediacy are created as these technologies become more widely deployed, and provide new opportunities for complementing, or substituting, traditional observation techniques, through the use of this large volume of data.

PhD, CEO & Founder
Dr. David specializes in atmospheric physics and applied meteorology. Upon completing his doctoral degree at Tel Aviv University, he carried out his post-doctoral work at Cornell University (NY), as well as taking positions as a visiting scientist at other prestigious institutes, such as Columbia University (NY), and the University of Tokyo (Japan).
His academic research, rigorously reviewed by experts in the environmental and technological fields, gained international recognition, including the reception of a medal from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). His works were published in leading scientific journals and extensively reviewed on distinguished stages worldwide, such as Scientific American, Physics Today, Popular Science, and more.
AtmosCell was founded on the proven knowledge that Dr. David and its team of experts garnered in over 15 years of research and specialization in the field.
